Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) is a public university under Ministry of Industry and Trade with a 122-year-history of development. HaUI was formerly known as Hanoi Technical School (founded in 1898) and Hai Phong Technical School (founded in 1913). Hanoi University of Industry is one of the leading application-oriented universities in Vietnam with multiple disciplines, modes of education and education levels which has provided high-quality graduates for the industrialization, modernization and global integration of the country for decades.
The university currently employs 1.500 lecturers and support staffs in its 3 campuses with a combined area of nearly 50 ha, all equipped with modern facility which can support the education of over 30.000 students at various education levels and modes of education. Regarding organizational structure, the university has 7 functional departments, 13 faculties, 10 training centers, 7 support centers, 1 research center and 1 company.
HaUI has 3 campuses with the total area of nearly 50 ha with 369 lecture halls, 50 computer labs, 48 modern foreign language classrooms, 10 laboratories, 135 workshops, multi-purpose gymnasiums, tennis courts, and stadiums with modern and synchronous equipment to ensure training quality, learning environment and production safety.
